With the magazine Schauplatz Korea we dare to take a slightly different path. The focus is not on breaking news, but on in-depth reports on art, culture, trends, and food. We write stories and articles about life and “survival” in South Korea. From people for people. We want to show and question the unknown and known facets of this unique culture of Korea with interesting stories and background information. The online magazine is available in German and English.
We are international and want to celebrate the diversity of life also in the team. We live and work in Korea or have taken the country into our hearts during a trip. We do not have a journalistic background, but we write fresh from the liver, what moves and interests us. We all have one thing in common: We are proud to share our experiences and knowledge about Korea and its people with the world on this channel. We do this with great commitment and a lot of heart and soul.
Every day we meet new, interesting people, experience beautiful and not so beautiful things. We ask ourselves why things work differently here than elsewhere, discover new perspectives, and learn to understand our friends and acquaintances better. We get to know their worries and fears, find out what touches them and what their dreams are.
